Strengths and Teams
“Simply put, teams where employees said that they had a chance to play to their strengths at work outperformed those teams where they did not – even when the teams were engaged in exactly the same kind of work.” (Marcus Buckingham in “The Strengths Engagement Track: A Benchmark Study of Sixty-Five High Performing Teams.”)
Are you the team leader of a talented group of individuals? Can you imagine that team operating at its peak by using the combined talents of all its members? Using the work of researchers and authors such as Buckingham, Lencioni, Collins and Donald Clifton, this workshop assists teams in their goal to be top performing teams. Each team member is assisted to recognise and put their strengths to work to contribute to that goal. Team members are coached to apply their strengths to building trust, engage in productive conflict, increase commitment, welcome accountability and pay attention to results.
Using presentations, exercises and coaching, teams are taught to explore their individual strengths, recognise the strengths of other and to contribute their strengths to the team. Individual coaching with the team leader and a follow-up report are part of the event.
